Hien Sushi Bar

The sushi was just amazing! We ordered almost a bit of every kind of dish. The fish was so fresh and just melted in your mouth. A very talented sushi chef, who has perfectly coordinated the ingredients. And all of that for just almost 30€… highly recommended!

Absolute 5 star for Hien Sushi bar. The food was delicious and the serve was excellent. As a new player in sushi game, i can now say im fully converted. Once you arrive inside, the atmosphere and decor is a great fusion between Hoi An and Japanese. If you like sushi then look no further.

This is a fantastic place to eat! My friend and I have severe allergies (nuts and soya- not great in Vietnam!) and they were really helpful in accommodating this. Especially one of the waitresses who had fantastic English. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Also very good value for money. If you’re craving some Japanese food in Vietnam or need somewhere to eat without a high risk of nuts/ soya, I’d highly recommend!

Amazing sushi restaurant in the old town of Hoi An! The food was fresh, delicious, and came very quickly. The prices are fair and definitely worth it. The place is clean and has a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff are extremely kind and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great sushi in Hoi An!

Lovely fresh sushi. Friendly host . Even had Japanese beer at a good price . We have been back a couple of times . Definitely recommend Hien Bar . A little tricky to fine it’s at the end of cooking class restaurants.

Our best sushi restaurant in Hoi An. We are locals and we order Hien sushi every week. Very yummy. Price is affordable compared to their quality. The atmosphere is very cool. I like the vibes there too. 10 stars for Hien

Great Japanese food. I came in late at 9.30pm and they still gave me a table which was really appreciated. Tried the miso ramen, which was good for 110k. Salmon avocado sushi for 110k was fresh and tasty. And the fried vegetables were also good. Only letdown was the plethora of tourists smoking outside, which is unfortunate but beyond control of the restaurant. $12USD for a full Japanese style meal is excellent value.

I appreciate that they offer vegetarian options, and I hope they will add vegan options soon. I tried the tofu mushroom sushi, Wakame salad, and Grilled king oyster mushroom. The sushi was good, and the Wakame salad was excellent. However, the Grilled king oyster mushroom was undercooked and quite tough to chew. I had to ask them to cook it a bit more. Typically, these mushrooms should be boiled and then grilled to ensure they are fully cooked inside. Otherwise outside of mushroom will burn not cooked enough. Additionally, I ordered the grape seed salad with tofu. They mentioned that the sauce, called "Kewpie," contains no animal products, but upon checking the ingredients, I found egg yolk inside. Therefore, if you are seeking a completely vegan option, please be cautious when ordering. Please add Vegan options to menu and label it like you do for Vegetarian options, like that it will be easier to choose it. Thank you
